  • 2025 Okinawan FEASTival (Sept 1–15) – A culinary and cultural campaign organized by Hawaii Okinawans and supported by Hawai‘i United Okinawa Association. Explore Okinawan cuisine through special dishes and promotions at local Okinawan-owned restaurants.
  • Waikīkī Street Jam (Sept 6, Kalākaua Avenue, Waikīkī) – A vibrant street festival featuring local food, live entertainment, and artisan crafts; proceeds support Make-A-Wish Hawaii.
  • Megabon (Sept 13, Leeward Community College) – Traditional bon dance with taiko drumming, festival games, and food booths blending Japanese and Hawaiian cultural traditions.
  • Waikīkī Fall Festival (Sept 15–25, Waikīkī) – Features Hawaiian cultural performances, a hula competition, fire-knife dancing (Sept 18), Hawaiian music night (Sept 19), and a food & craft fair (Sept 22–25).

  • Move With MADD – 5K Walk (Sept 13, Kaka‘ako Waterfront Park) – Fundraising walk by Mothers Against Drunk Driving to support prevention programs.
  • Hawaiian Mission Houses – Fundraising Gala (Sept 13, Royal Hawaiian Hotel) – An elegant gala with performances and auctions supporting historical preservation.
